Eljött az utolsó mantgumi vasárnapunk, ami szabadnap volt, így bementünk a városba, eddig felfedezetlen helyek után kutatva. Még a szálláson kinéztünk egy templomot, amire felmászva szép kilátás nyílt volna az egész városra, és még továbbra is, de odaérve szomorúan láttuk, hogy csak májustól-októberig látogatható. / The last sunday in Mantgum has come, and it was a free day for us, so we headed to Leeuwarden in the search of unexplored places. Back at home, we found a church with a tower, which would have given us the sight of the whole city and maybe further, but as we arrived, it was closed, and only will open in May.
Így más látnivalók után kutatva elindultunk a belváros felé. Útközben sok szép házat láttunk, ahol valószínűleg politikusok laknak, vagy régebben nemesek tulajdonában állt. / In the search of other sights, we headed to the city centre. On our way, we saw many victorian styled doors and houses, which probably were the home for noble people in the past.
A Kerámiamúzeumot is megnéztük, ami kicsi, de annál érdekesebb volt. / We were introduced to the ceramic museum. It was tiny, but very interesting.
A város kihalt volt ezen a szürke, borús vasárnap délután, ami adott egyfajta hangulatot. A helyi fagyizó persze nyitva volt, és a hideg ellenére kipróbáltuk a holland fagyit, ami nagyon finom. / The town was pretty empty on this foggy sunday afternoon, but that gave us a special vibe. The local ice cream shop was open, of course, and despite the chilly weather, we tried it, and it was yummy :)
